So, i think xanga has become a once a month tradition for me. Well, the highlight of March by far was my Juarez trup! can u say AH-MAZING! God is so stinking awesome! I went to Juarez, Mexico with my church ACC from Fri to Sat of Spring Break. It was about 35 of us that went and I lead the dance team ( the best dance team ACC has ever seen right?? Jessica, Liz, Vangie, Bethany, Erica, Christine, Court?? MOST DEF!)

God worked so many things in my heart, my friends' hearts, and the hearts of the people we met.

I want to say everything, but its so much and the most amazing things were the things God did in my friends' hearts and that stuff isn't stuff u just throw out on xanga. But I can say i love that God let me be on the front row of what he did in them! :)

Ill talk about me and the people we met down there. I got to lead a few single mom's to the lord, 3 teenage girls, and i got to pray with a lot of other people. My spanish came back so i got to hang out and talk to a lot of mexican people. The best part of leading someone to Christ was getting to teach them how to read the bible and how to pray and then getting to introduce them to people from their local church so they could get plugged in. I love that bc that shows the whole pic. that being christian is about having a relationship with God and his people, not just making a one time decision. This was ACC in Waco's 18th year to go to Juarez and so i talked to some of the teens from the church we work with and they said that a lot of people do end up coming to church and getting plugged in. So, that's cool. One cool story is my friend Matt was talking to a man that had like a nervous twitch thing were he couldn't stop shaking and Matt gave him a hug and the man said something like he hadn't had a hug in like 30 years. Matt said when he gave the man a hug he could feel for the first time all night the man wasn't shaking, his body was completely still. It was prolly the sweetest story from the whole week. That's straight from God's heart...u read about Jesus loving the unlovable all over the gospels.

COMMUNITY! that basically sums up the whole week. We were always together, had everything in common, shared everything, always looked out for each other and were a team spreading the good news all over the city. it was Acts 2:42-47 come alive! It was a beautiful picture of God's church.

IT IS OFFICAL, I HAVE NOT UPDATED IN A LONG TIME!

so, i figured why not now??

All the churches in Belton were cancelled this am because of the ice...

so, i had church in my bed. haha...under like 7 layers of blankets bc the heater is broken in our dorm.

So, what's been going on? HOMEWORK and some more homework, and for u guys that know me well know even if i have a lot of it I don't really care bc i can cram an hour before and get it all done, BUT not this homework. It's a bunch of education projects that can't be done in an hour before. So, this explaination was for u guys wondering why i haven't called or come out to play. I am sorry everyone, after this tuesday i will be FREE! :)

Other things going on.... my best friend, Amanda Fritz is an RA now, i sat with her from 7-11 yesterday and a lil friday, it was fun. I like just chilling in the lob. I like getting to talk to a lot of the girls that i haven't gotten to meet that live here in our dorm. I used to be in the lob all the time when i first got to remschel, but not really any after that. But i think that job is a really neat way just to know the girls that live here.

hmmmmmm.... Valentine's was just here.... so, now i can truly say single girls can have just as much fun as girls that have bf's. It was a great valentines! i woke up to a card and a swiss cake roll from my best friend and another card and swiss cake rolls from my roomie. Then I got flowers and more swiss cake rolls and a cucumber (my fav foods) from another friend and then my mom sent me flowers at work. So, it was GREAT! :)

Spring break is coming again! That means another trip to Juarez, Mexico! this time will be completely dif this time though. This time I am the small team leader for the dance team...( BTW my girls are the best and we def look beautiful together doing our dance :) ) and a whole new team is going! Our team verse is John 14:12-14 "I tell u the truth anyone who has faith in me will do what i have been doing . He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the father. And I will do whatever u ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it" Our theme is ANTICIPATE GREATER THINGS. man, i am ready, i am anticipating greater things. most def...

Yay! so this week has been fun! tiring! good! On Monday we had a suprise party for Joshua! Tuesday was my first time to go to Emergent Lit, i think it will be good! I like the teacher! Wednesday.... was not so good, some friends saw me get really angry for the first time (sorry Jessica, Ash, and Joshua). Thurs is today! and it was a good time i like my creative arts class today and tonight is Christmas with my Best Friend! so that will be good! we both have been working so hard, i think it's going to be great! AND today is my FRIDAY! no classes on friday for me! but, i am going to chapel....maybe... SOOOOO...... as u can see it was a crazy week! but the point of this post was to show my non-facebook friends the pics of Joshua's suprise party. let me know what u think?!? ttyl

IT'S TIME! :) and :( are my emotions...

this break has been awesome! like i already said before, my time with God has been so precious.... irreplaceable... My time here with my mom and my brenham friends has been great too! I love hanging out with these women...here's my tribute to them:

my mom- she has been sick as a dog (bronchitis, ect.) but she never stops serving me and never wastes a min of our time. She makes me feel wanted and loved. Also, applause to her she is going to try to quit smoking.. she has smoked since she was 14 yrs old. so that's going to be very hard, but I believe God desperately wants that to broken off of her life and that he WILL accomplish that. (so u can fight for her in that)

Amanda - she is really cool, amazing. I have been able to witness some of her "gifts" this break. She is so relational. Time is never a factor for her. She never gets tired of people and she never wants to quit being friends with anyone. with those gifts-she makes people feel loved and cared about. She is faithful to every one and every commitment. Also, she is a planner. She knows how to plan, organize, and how to problem solve. That makes her an awesome administrator in anything she tries (work, clubs, ect.) and it will make her an awesome mom and wife. God is not chaotic. He plans. and He loves order. He says that and I can see that characteristic in Manda.

Her mom, Mrs. Fritz: i was talking a lot about her yesterday to amanda and I realized I should have been telling her all that I was saying about her. So, just like amanda, she is so relational... with everyone, her children at school, her daughter's friends, her friends, and even strangers. She is genuinely interested in people and it makes people feel loved and wanted and interesting! She remembers everything u tell her too, so just like amanda she can be friends with people forever, time never phases her either. She is so warm and inviting.. just like Jesus. Thank you Mrs. Fritz for everything!

Elizabeth- I loved being able to hang out with her and Windy West at Hearts Desire this break. She had some struggles this break with her beauty and how it was going to be changed she thought with her surgery, but what she couldn't see, that I see all the time, is her real beauty is from the inside. Me and Danny sure did see it, but she couldn't. She is so beautiful inside and out. I think it's her inside beauty that makes her outside so beautiful. She is fun, funny, exciting, full of love and joy. I love talking with her bc our conversations are always so full of joy and excitement. She makes people come alive. She is such a girl and that invites other women to be the woman God created them to be. You are most def a blessing.

Emily- you blow my mind away with your thoughts about God and your thoughts of people. You see the root issues of people's lives and you are so eager to see people free and healed. The way u are fighting so hard for Loretta and the way you pour Jesus into the children you teach is awesome! That is totally the character of God coming out in you. But the one thing you really have challenged me with personally is being more honest about my past with other women. One thing u said that i will never forget was "if we don't talk about it, people will keep hiding." I don't want people to be too scared to talk about their struggles that they keep hurting. I want to help bring freedom in women's lives in that area and with my testimony i totally can.

Kristin- you love people inspite of their sin. that is totally the banner over your life "sinners welcomed" you give us the love and acceptance we need. You have compassion for us so much. and You fight for us. You love to do God's work too. You knew how much that clean sweep would mean to my mom and you jumped in full force. You can honestly say God has worked miracles through me bc that def was to my mom personally (and that's the same for jeremy, em, and amanda). You are awesome and you and Ryan are going to be an awesome dynamic duo for Jesus. He displays the same welcome to the men in his life.

Ok, on another topic: if u wanna pray for me i know what miracle I am asking for this semester: the ability to plan and to organize and manage my time this semester. I will be leaving school at 7:30 am and going to class and working straight through till 5 with an hour lunch break Mon-Thurs . Then Friday I will work. One of my goals is to work more in my classes, i have never been good at that and last sem was a close one, so God has shown me if i don't then it will effect the things i love the most, my friends, my community. So, i will go to school and work from 7:30-5 everyday and i need to spend time with God, friends/community, and study. BALANCE is what i need. and order. So, doing everything i am called to will be my miracle this sem. bc it will totally be done only within GOd's grace.
